WOW what prayer can do....

This morning my devotion was about "Zero Tolerance" (written by Roy Lessin)

He asked these questions; how much anxiety should you carry in your heart?.....how much worry should fill your mind?.....how much fear should agitate your soul?

Then he goes onto to tell us: "The best and only policy toward all these (anxiety, worry and fear) is "Zero tolerance". Through prayer, you must close the door to every enemy of God's peace. It is His peace within you that will stand guard against the things that want to trouble you and give you unrest.

Well let me say this; there was absolute zero tolerance today. I had a band of prayer warriors praying for me at 1:00 p.m. today when I was going to be facing a difficult moment. As I was sitting there I could feel my soul becoming rested, I could feel my heart calm, and I knew that all my precious friends were lifting up special conversations on my behalf to our Lord.

Thanks for all who lifted me up during this important time.....and praise you God for answering.

Looking for what God has in store....

Well short quick blog for tonite..........will post more over the weekend as God moves.

My sister and I are on our yearly sister trip, where we seek God's face on where He would have us to be in the new year in our lives with Him, our relationship with our husband, family, church and what we need to change about our attitudes in general. We look forward to what God will be teaching us and what path He decides to take us in 2010.

Well its 2010...

Well everyone it is now 2010.

I have learned so much in 2009. Many things I don't want to repeat in 2010. Many things I want to continue learning in 2010.

As each day passes this year, I want to share with each of you who have read this blog site what I'm learning and how I'm growing in the Lord, along with special prayer requests or just miscellaneous information, so please stay tuned as God teaches me, leads me and allows me to write and share those special moments and times.

I will be praying for all who read here that God will use something that I share to reach your heart and soul....

OK I'm back from vacation and back on track so time to get busy with my thoughts again. Keep in touch

4-wheelin' trip to Colorado....

We drove a total of 4033 miles in the truck, 77 hours and 49 minutes

but get this we drove a total of 294 miles on the 4 wheeler....and every mile was as good as the first.

What is Heaven and Hell?

Two great basic points shared by my future son-in-law in his sermon today. Not that we don't already know this but there may be someone who is reading this who these two statements just might hit home and help them make a decision to follow Christ.

You ready, OK here goes:

Heaven is where "He" is
Hell is where "He" Ain't
