Hi Beverly,
I study by taking one of the subject sections in each chapter and reading it everyday until God reveals something through it. It is a long process but for me it works. I find myself connecting passages I would not have normally connected. Also it makes me slow down and dig. I also use Bible study tools like my PC study Bible on the computer and BIble studies like the one we are doing by Beth Moore. I try to leave a few bibles out around the house so that when I am in that room and have a second I can read the passage again. They are different versions so each time it has a little different perspective. I heard that Billy Graham did this so I have given it a try.
I also wanted to thank you for your kind words last night as I was sharing about high school.
You are a remarkable person and I am so glad we are becoming friends!
