The Bumps are what you climb on....

Our daily lives have many rocks and bumps in them, they have difficulties, you feel like quitting and giving up, you can't understand why the road doesn't get easier, why God doesn't move the rocks. The bumps in our road are what we climb on. God doesn't promise to take away the rocks and bumps that are in our path but He will promise to only make them stepping-stones and not stumbling blocks.

Many of us complain about the rocks in our life. We try to kick them around, pick them up and throw them away and we find out that these rocks we are having to walk over are just to heavy for us.

We get used to the straight paved roads and level sidewalks, we don't expect God to put bumps in our path, but He does.

It takes faith to climb over these bumps and keep moving on, we need to look away from ourself and look by faith to Jesus Christ who will help us climb every bump in the road that comes our way.

Quit looking at ourselves, our problems, our troubles, or any bumps in our road, but let's look to Jesus.

In Psalm 91 there are 11 different kinds of dangers named but God said he can protect us from all of them. Why not read this chapter today and see how God can help you climb every bump that comes into your life.

I got shown the same thing the other day!

It is easy to follow God during the time of feasts.

It is the time of famine where our faith is really tested!

How we react when those bumps occur is EVERYTHING! Do we run away? Do we run to God? Do we read more? Pray more? Fast more? Love more? Praise more? or do we just want to go to sleep?
