Do you believe without seeing....

Have you ever wished you could actually see Jesus, touch Him, and Hear his words?
Are there times you want to sit down with Him and get His advice?
Thomas wanted Jesus' physical presence, but God's plan is wiser. God is with us all in the form of the Holy Spirit.
You can talk to him, and you can find His words in the pages of the Bible. He can be real to you. You can believe in Him without actually seeing him...

Jesus wasn't hard on Thomas for his doubts, despite his skepticism. Thomas was still loyal to the believers and to Jesus himself. Some people need to doubt before they believe. If doubt leads to questions and questions lead to answers and if the answers are accepted, then doubt has done good work. It is when doubt becomes stubbornness and stubbornness becomes a lifestyle that doubt harms faith.

When you doubt, don't stop there. Let your doubt deepen your faith as you continue to search for the answer.
Doubt encourages rethinking. When you doubt take encouragement from Thomas, he didn't stay in his doubt but allowed Jesus to bring him to belief.

Jesus blesses those who believe without seeing!

Read about the story of Thomas and ask yourself some questions, are you doubting what God can do in you, do you doubt God exists, do you doubt that God can change you...God can help you believe in all things even though you can't see Him or His work with your physical eyes....Allow God to open your eyes so you can believe what you see....
John 20:24-29

I thought that was a really good sermon last night. It is good to be reminded that doubting is OK, so long as we don't stay there. Sometimes I've asked Him to change my circumstances and instead He gave me the faith to walk in my circumstances. I know He has a greater purpose for those times than I could even imagine. God is good like that. We can't see now, but one day our faith will be made sight.
