I can't even begin to tell you how much of a relief it is to know that Michael woke yesterday. (Day 37). How much joy this has brought us. He was responding to commands to move his limbs and he did so. He tried to speak, yet the tubes in his throat prevent him from being vocal. He was able to mouth words to his Grandma. He wanted to know what was wrong with his belly. Grandma told him Nikki and Wyatt were ok, and that he was in the hospital. He seemed to acknowledge all that was happening. This is when he motioned to his Grandma to bend down to him and he gave her a kiss.
Thank you Jesus!!!
